Very sturdy!Way better than the same model without the leather on top where your toes end up coming out the top. At first a little bit tight… but very comfy after a week or two!

Very good shoes for pickleballThese Asics arrived on time and purchased at a good price (black friday). I have narrow long feet, size 12 mens. These shoes fit like a glove. I play indoor pickleball four times a week and these shoes are very comfortable. Not once have they stuck to the floor as to roll my ankle or fall. I buy new shoes once a year and then rotate my shoes (my old shoes with new shoes) every time that I play. So, if I wore my old shoes yesterday I will wear the new shoes today, and repeat. I will probably purchase these same shoes again in a year. I would not recommend these shoes for wide feet.

I like them but if you have wide feet try another shoeI just started playing pickleball about three months ago but have only been using these shoes for about two weeks. I'm an athletic guy and have been around my fair share of shoes, from basketball to running all the way to rugby. They are a little stiff but they are slowly starting to break-in. It could be my feet but wearing thinner socks doesn't work well for me and "No show" socks are also not ideal since the shoes are a little stiff. The side of the shoe rubs against my ankle since the sock rides so low. Switching over to a thicker, higher sock gives me a better fit (my personal preference). I have small feet for a guy, usually wear a 9 (sometimes 8.5). I ended up getting an 8.5 because I didn't want my feet sliding around in the shoe. Having said that, I wish they were a bit wider. Maybe if I got a size 9 I would get that extra space, hard to say. Breaking them in more may help but if you have wide feet, I would not get these shoes.
Overall they have good traction, little on the heavy side (that's ok) but they fit snug, are comfortable and do what I need them to do.

Had to drop my review down to a two star. For some reason these shoes are putting a lot a strain on my achilles but only on my right foot. Not sure what is going on. I thought I might have strained my achilles but when I switched to my Asics Gel Venture 8's the pain went away. I will got back and try the Renma's in the upcoming weeks to see if the pain comes back…that will give be a better idea if the shoe is really the problem. If so I will give another update.

After a couple more months I changed my review from two stars to four. Hard to tell if something was going on with my achilles because of the shoe or just my achilles in general. Either way the pain went away and these shoes are great. My one compliant is how narrow they are.

2nd PairPurchased them for indoor Pickle ball. They are comfortable and have good support and traction. Depending on the brand I can wear a 10.5 but other I wear an 11. My other pair of Asics I got the 11 and they fit well. I got the size 11 in these and they also fit good.

Great shoes!I really like these shoes, for pickleball. They are durable and they feel very stable. When I was wearing running shoes, I was always afraid I would twist my ankle, but with these shoes feel very sturdy, with less chance to twist my ankle.

Sole worn out in 3 months.I liked the fit, comfort, and stability of these shoes, but the sole is completely worn out after only 3 months of use for pickleball (2x per week).

Good for pickleballGood support and comfortable for those with a narrow foot. Grips well. Only downside is tendency for sole to wear thin rapidly with frequent play.
