Product Description
The GEL-ROCKET 11 style is a multi-purpose indoor court shoe that offers good stability and easy movement for a range of court athletes. This shoe is designed with a flexible upper construction that’s breathable and more comfortable. A TPU TRUSSTIC application in the midsole is designed to help resist over-twisting and improve stability during quick transitions. Its wrap-up outsole and outrigger are functional support components that are helpful during side-to-side movements. Meanwhile, the outsole’s flexion grooves provide better flexibility to help you move more freely on the court.

Good indoor court shoesVery comfortable and great ankle and side support. Used for playing badminton. The grip is good and so far have not slipped from using this pair of shoes on wooden courts or rubber courts. Size is accurate. Shape has hold up after a year of using about twice a week of badminton for 1.5 hours each time.

Squash players: These are the best!I've been a squash player for over 50 years and have been through the shoe wars all along the way. Brands come and go; and some change styles. Soon after then the Asics Gel Rockets came out, I bought a pair and liked their comfort, fit, weight, traction and durability. (I've gotten one to two years per pair of Gel Rockets.) Being used to companies changing their shoes, I quickly bought another pair. Eventually, they showed some wear and I converted them to non-squash casual wear.
Meanwhile, I needed a pair of all-black walking/running shoes I could take on travel and wear for mor dressy occasions. Again, I bought Asics, same size. The same size as my squash shoes fit perfectly and are still in use after about three years.
When it came time to buy new squash shoes, I again turned to Asics. After years of wearing white, I went for more color and bought these peacoat blue/orange babies. They arrived in two days in an original carton and perfect condition. Noting the Amazon 7-day tryout period, I quickly took them onto the court, and found the feel and the traction are just the same as my prior pair. And they look great – the colors on the Amazon page are true.
I mention all this because I was concerned about the soles. I have mostly bought squash shoes with the yellow-orange gum soles. They don't mark the court floor and the traction has been consistently outstanding. When I've bought other brands with white or gray soles, I was dissatisfied with the traction or the durability. This new pair has blue soles, so before buying them, I checked with two pros and two other players who have Asics shoes with colored soles. They told me not to worry, and they were right. (They also said that the Asics UpCourt volleyball shoes are not as good for squash.)
So, I recommend them, and am now ordering another pair before these colors disappear.

Great value for the money! They have Gel cushioning that makes them comfy and helps absorb shock when you jump. The shoes are breathable, keeping your feet cool and dry. They also have good grip, so you won't slip on the court. They're supportive and fit well, making them comfortable and reducing the chance of injury. Overall, these shoes are durable, comfortable, and perfect for anyone who plays tennis, pickleball, badminton, volleyball or any other court sports.

This is a great budget vball shoe.If you’re considering it, just do it. They are comfortable, lightweight, supportive, and pretty good looking. They are great for indoor or outdoor vball because it has supports in the right areas. Traction is decent on grass as well. Great value sneaker.

Great court shoe in wide widthI was looking for a court shoe to play indoor pickleball. The few options in reputable brands in wide width were $100+ except for these Asics. I have had Asics running shoes in the past and liked them. I have now played about 10 hours in these shoes and I really like them. Very comfortable and supportive while also having great traction. I am hoping that they wear well on the rough pickleball surface compared to indoor volleyball/basketball courts. I also hope next time I buy them, they are available in a color other than peacock and neon orange!

Perfect fit!I have been buying Asics shoes for over 8 years and this is the most comfortable and great looking shoe for Pickleball that I have bought. I know they say for Volleyball but other people have said they used for Pickleball so I tried them. we will see how they hold up on the courts because I play almost everyday and average about 50 games per week.
