Make my feet go numbSo disappointed with these sneakers. I purchased as I have a previous pair that I've been wearing for 2 years and love. These are very snug but for some reason they make my feet go numb. For $200 I would expect the usual Asics quality that I rely on for all my sneakers.

Almost impossible to get onThis version of the Asics Elite has leather on the top of the shoe near the tongue making it ridiculously hard to put on. My daughter couldn't even get her foot into the shoe. I thought she was kidding till I tried and I struggled but did manage to get my foot in. Once in, the leather made it very tight on the top of my foot – not comfortable at all. Stick with the Mid Top 2 !

narrow shoeOrder these for my daughter. The size is good but seem a little narrow. Looks like a well-built shoe just hope they stretch out a bit with a shoe stretcher.

Do not purchase from this sellerI purchase this shoe on October 5, with an expected receive date of October 10-11. It never shipped. On the 10th I contacted the seller (ASICS) to ask questions—as I saw another recent review about them cancelling orders at the last minute. I woke up on the 11th with a cancellation notice. HORRIBLE service. Couldn’t even reply to me. Take down the merchandise if you can’t follow through. I needed these volleyball shoes by the 13th and you screwed me. Thanks for nothing.
Update: I opted to reorder the next day since it suddenly showed two day prime shipping (so much for not in stock. I was sent the wrong shoe entirely. Amazon is resending the shoe so hopefully it’s the right one. It’s only been two weeks since trying to buy a shoe.

Shoe size is an issueI have always been an 8.5 in all shoes and Asics has not made a difference since I have other pairs of Asics shoes and the size 8.5 fits me perfectly but in this model it did not fit and I tried to put it on by force and it gave me a bruise on the instep of my foot since the shoe is very small compared to other Asics.

VB shoeThe shoe IS difficult to get on bc there isn’t a pull tab in the back to grab onto… However, once on, the shoe is very comfortable, lightweight, with good bounce for jumping. The shoe does run small. Had to exchange for a half size larger.
